As a JCCC Alum, I worked hard as a single mom to afford school while working a full time job and raising a child. All residents of Johnson County pay taxes and deserve an accessible higher education and/or vocational training.
We citizens of Johnson County are supposed to trust our Trustees to ensure the college is transparent and accessible. The incumbents have been a rubber stamp with little oversight from the community for far too long.
Student access and success in higher education are threatened by the effects of structural racism and systemic poverty. I am committed to make JCCC accessible to all individuals for a high-quality education in an inclusive environment.
Your support and contributions will enable us to continue our campaign and improve Johnson County Community College.
